KYLIE
SACKLE AT THE HOG’S BREATH SALOON

Australian singer-songwriter Kylie Sackle begins a
two-week gig tonight at the Hog’s Breath Saloon from 5:30-9:30
p.m.
In
May Sackle was an unscheduled special guest at the Key West
Songwriters Festival. Her brief
performance opening night at Mangoes, and later at the Sunset Pier and
the Hog’s Breath’s Writer’s Room, were all greeted with enthusiastic
applause by audiences and calls for more.
Recording
artist and songwriter Gary Burr showcased at the Writer’s
Room with Kylie at the festival and the photo of her performance is featured
on
her web site. The talented Burr continues to be her friend and they have
written together in Nashville.
The creative Aussie who turned 21 earlier this year was named “Best New
Talent” at the 2002 Country Music Awards of Australia. Kylie has also been
Toyota’s “youthful face” for its advertising in Australia.
In
Nashville for a songwriting stint – working on her own CD as well as
writing songs for Faith Hill – Kylie is looking forward to
the escape of her gig in Key West and said there may even be surprises
for the audiences.
Performing
on stage with Kylie will be singer-songwriter Dillon Dixon who
has written for George Jones, Mindy McCready and Restless Heart,
to mention
only
a few. Dillon also had a track on the recent Terminator movie and
has been in Los Angeles working on his debut album with Sheryl
Crow’s band.
Once
again the Hog’s Breath is bringing fresh new talent to its stage;
talent that is on the road to stardom so you’d better catch them
for free while you still can and then you can say you knew then when …
