Grammy nominated songwriter James Slater at the Hog’s Breath’s Writers’ Room

Grammy nominated songwriter James Slater will play the Hog’s Breath’s Writers’ Room Wednesday, June 29 for one performance.

Slater’s song “In My Daughter’s Eyes,” sung by country legend Martina McBride, was nominated for the Grammy’s Song of the Year at the 2005 Grammy’s in Las Vegas. The versatile songwriter established himself as a talented entertainer when he appeared at the Hog’s Breath in 2004 and again this year at the “Key West Songwriters’ Festival.”

Doors open Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
